mmm……………
this would have to be the most minimalist blog ever. If you don't count the blogger toolbar, then it would be impossible to have any less on a webpage. Is it an anti-webpage? ... an anti-blog?
There is actually a website called the anti blog - http://www.theantiblog.com/ - which has no text, but does have a layout, so it is less minimalist than lawley.blogspot.com
After lucking-out at lawley.blogspot.com, I decided to see what other sites on blogger have lawley in their url and found these few.
Other Lawley related blogs on blogger that have no relation to me:
Lawley Green Space Group - http://lawleygreenspacegroup.blogspot.com/
A group that is "protecting, enhancing and utilising the green space in the Lawley area of Telford, Shropshire"
Lawley Languages - http://lawleylanguages.blogspot.com/
A blog for the Mount Lawley Senior High School A Specialist GATE Languages School
and also the blog for their Giro D'Italia http://lawleyitalia2010.blogspot.com
Notes From a Small Planet - http://russell-lawley-gibbs.blogspot.com
I guess he means Earth
Mr & Mrs Lawley - http://hall-lawley.blogspot.com/
Must love dogs
Blogs are a many varied thing.
Hey Lawley, who would have thought you are so famous - you really get around! I love the colourful circles :)
ReplyDelete"After lucking-out .."
ReplyDeleteTHANK YOU! why does everyone use this term to mean lucky..? i dont get it.g
And why wont you let us follow you Lawley! WHY?!
An antiblog? what an enticing idea! hmmm - i wrote further comments about that and then deleted them just on the basis that they might unintentionally offend artists.Which makes me wonder if not wishing to offend actually curtials peoples comments on this kind of blog??
ReplyDeleteMichael - I added a follow button, but you can follow other blogs directly from your blogger dashboard.
ReplyDeleteGozzieHoon - I'm still trying to work out if that was an anti-comment or not
I certainly meant no offence, Lawley, and I'm sorry if I did cause any. In my first post I found myself using art-school cliches and realised it could be interpreted as sarcastically denigrating artists, which was not my intent. I would love to see an anti-blog; I love a bit of irony and would like to see how many ways the concept could be interpreted.
ReplyDeleteNo offense - it was more that I liked the idea of someone try to anti-comment on an anti-blog and was wondering if by adding, then deleting a comment before it was posted constituted an anti-comment, and thought this may have been some sort of effort on your part to anti-comment within a comment.
ReplyDeleteI also feel like my comment sounded a little irate. And now i feel i pressured you to add the follow option. Ah well.
ReplyDeleteAs to the current thread of conversation..my head hurts..(i need to go to bed)
That's okay, Michael, my head hurts too....
ReplyDeleteLawley, I wish I was clever enough to have been that clever but I ain't :-)
